All-weather court school grounds
Balzers, Liechtenstein
The all-weather court at the Balzers school complex, which was in need of renovation, has been transformed into a modern, multifunctional sports field. By overlapping different areas of use, the newly designed field offers a wide variety of exercise opportunities. In addition to three multi-sport fields, a running track, a bouldering wall and various playground equipment have been installed. This guarantees boundless fun for young and old. An approx. 1,200 m2 large elastic fall protection surface made of colored rubber granules provides the necessary safety and a visual differentiation of the various sport and play areas. Our GEZOFLEX EPDM granule in different blue tones was processed in this colorful surface.
Athletics Stadium Hayward Field
Eugene, USA
The athletics stadium Hayward Field is located on the campus of the University of Oregonan (USA) and hosted the 18th World Athletics Championships in July, 2022. It was extensively rebuilt and renovated during the last years. The result is a first-class track and field facility with a nine-lane running track, great acoustics and unobstructed sightlines throughout. GEZOFLEX granules were used for the installation of the nine-lane running track as well as for the surfacing system of the other competition areas. Our high-quality EPDM granules make up the most important part of the surfacing system and, with their multifunctional properties, guarantee maximum athletic performance with minimal risk of injury.
Playgrounds Deanside Village Park

Deanside Village is a residential area that has been developed in recent years near Caroline Springs in Australia. At the beginning of 2022, two new play areas were installed in the Deanside Village Park on a total area of approx. 240 m2. On a fall protection surface with our GEZOFLEX EPDM granules in bright shades of red, yellow and green, children can swing, climb and slide safely. Ambitious little climbers can try their hand at the futuristic climbing wall without hesitation. The soft flooring, in which GEZOFLEX EPDM granules in blue, dark blue and turquoise blue have been installed, provides the necessary safety.
FIFA World Football Museum
Zurich, Switzerland
The world football association FIFA has created a unique world of football experiences in the heart of Zurich with the FIFA World Football Museum, which opened in 2016. The unique history of world football is told on an exhibition area of 3,000 square meters. GEZOFLEX EPDM granules in seven colors were used for a large part of the floor areas and the modeling of three-dimensional objects and almost vertical surfaces. The result is an extraordinary reference that impressively underlines the diverse application and design options of GEZOFLEX EPDM granules.

Cantonal school Zug
Zug, Switzerland
The Cantonal school of Zug was founded in 1861 and, with 1,400 students and 175 teachers, is the largest school in the Canton of Zug. An extraordinary multifunctional sports field with GEZOFLEX EPDM granules in Middle grey has been created on the roof of the newly built sports hall. School sports can now take place in the open air and high above the roofs of the city on an area of 1,700 m² in total. The new sports facilities are rounded off by a run-up track with a long jump facility and an approx. 600 m² multipurpose pitch - both, however, at the usual height.
Stadtlounge ("Red Square")
St. Gallen, Switzerland
The “city lounge” by the artist Pipilotti Rist and the architect Carlos Martinez has been inviting people to relax and be amazed since 2005. It is the first “public living room” in Switzerland and covers an area of around 4,600 m² right in the heart of St. Gallen. The floor areas, sofas, chairs, tables, loungers, a fountain and even a Porsche are designed with GEZOFLEX EPDM granules in bright red and make the area a unique highlight in urban design and development. In popular parlance, the area is - unsurprisingly - simply called "Red Square".
Stadium Herti Allmend
Zug, Switzerland
The Herti Allmend stadium in Zug, which opened in 1979, holds 4,900 spectators and was extensively renovated in 2020. Thanks to our GEZOFLEX EPDM granules, the athletics facilities have been shining in a strong blue tone (GEZOFLEX 064 blue) since the renovation work. With the new floor covering, the facility is the ideal training facility for the local clubs and is also ideally equipped for future competitions.
Playground in a private residential complex
Triengen, Switzerland
The existing playground in the private residential complex “Wintermatte” was completely redesigned in 2019. The modern wave design of the fall protection floor was beautifully staged with GEZOFLEX EPDM granules in Dark green, Bright yellow and Dark blue. But the new 98 m² playground is not only visually impressive – thanks to the EPDM fall protection floor, you can also be slid, swung, climbed and seesawed safely on the new playground equipment.
