For GEZOFLEX eco, only EPDM rubber is used, which contains a clearly defined proportion of certified bio-based raw materials. This proportion is ensured by a certified mass balance procedure.
Sulfur creates links between the single hydrocarbon chains of the EPDM and thus ensures the stable cross-linking of an EPDM granule. This cross-linking results in a stable, resistant and very elastic product.
GEZOFLEX eco uses an innovative, renewable filler that is biogenic and bio-based.
By adding color pigments and color master batches a fully dyeing of EPDM granules is achieved. The dyes are organic or inorganic, depending on the color.
GEZOFLEX eco only uses a premium oil that is 99 % bio-based and has a negative CO2 balance. However, it makes no compromises in terms of performance or technical properties.
Depending on the requirements for certain properties, such as UV stabilization or fire-retardant properties, these substances are added.

Together, the special raw materials in GEZOFLEX eco guarantee a total content of over 90 % sustainable ingredients. In addition, 45% of the total Carbon (TC) is biobased in accordance with ASTM D6866 (C14 radiocarbon method). The raw materials also demonstrate their sustainability through their following properties:

In addition to its outstanding sustainability features, GEZOFLEX eco makes no compromises in terms of application variety and processing options. Like normal EPDM granules, it can be used just as variably and conveniently for all common applications. Typical areas of application include athletic tracks and multisport surfaces, playground safety surfaces, prefabricated slabs and rolled goods for various flooring solution.
Thanks to its technical properties, GEZOFLEX eco is suitable for in-situ processing with a polyurethane binder or a coating, as well as for processing into rolled goods or for the production of slabs and molded parts.
Perfect for on site installation of seamless, elastic floor coverings.
For prefabricated floor coverings that can be rolled out quickly and easily.
For practical flooring solutions and individual design elements.
