  • In this public outdoor fitness area in Augsburg's Flösserpark, sustainable materials meet functional design
  • Sustainable GEZOFLEX eco EPDM granules serve a dual purpose: as the surface of the modular training platform and as padding directly on the training equipment
  • GEZOFLEX eco in green helps the training platform blend harmoniously into the natural park setting

A modern outdoor fitness area has been created in the newly redesigned Flösserpark in Augsburg-Lechhausen, combining exercise, relaxation, and socializing right on the banks of the Lech River. A modular » FLEXDEX platform featuring a variety of exercise equipment offers a wide range of exercise and training options in the heart of nature, all within a small area.

Outdoor training areas, in particular, place different demands on the materials used: The surfaces must be suitable for exercise and training and, among other things, provide a safe, stable footing. At the same time, comfort, design, and—increasingly—the sustainability of the materials used play an important role.

At Flösserpark, GEZOFLEX eco therefore fulfills several functions at once: Our sustainable EPDM granules are used both as slip-resistant flooring on the platform and as comfortable padding directly on the exercise equipment. At the same time, the chosen green color helps the training platforms blend seamlessly into the park’s surroundings, which are characterized by trees and green spaces.

We would like to extend our special thanks to » PAG Flooring Systems GmbH for the expert and professional installation and the successful completion of the project.
